Smt. Lakshmi Devi Krishi Vigyan Kendra was sanctioned by ICAR Vide Lr.No.5-26/09AE-II dated 26.07.2010 of Agricultural Extension of ICAR, New Delhi and Proceedings No. 77/Exten/A3/2010 dated 27.10.2010 of Director of Extension, Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad. It was started on 11th October 2010 in rented house at Jaya Nagar Colony in Kalyandurg town. It was shifted from rented house in Kalyandurg town to the present location with official inaugural ceremony on 27.05.2013 with administrative building, farmers hostel along with 50 acres of land which is located 5 km away from Kalyandurg town falling in the Yerrampalli village premises of Garudapuram panchayat.
